Shipping & returns
How it gets to you. What happens if it goes wrong.
Shipping prices, production timelines, and the honest version of our returns policy — including what we cover and what we don't.
Shipping options
- Local pickup from Two Rocks workshop — free. Email when ready to collect.
- Perth metro delivery — $15 flat, 1–2 business days.
- Australia-wide Sendle (carbon-neutral) — $18–28 depending on destination, 3–5 business days.
- Australia Post Express — available at checkout, 1–3 business days.
- Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $200.
Production timelines
- Standard: 10–14 business days from mock-up approval.
- Rush ($40 add-on): 5 business days. Available at checkout subject to current workshop load.
- Wedding deadlines tight? Email hello@morningwood.com.au with the date before ordering and we'll confirm.
International
We currently ship within Australia only. Acacia is dense and international freight is prohibitively expensive. If you really need a board shipped overseas, email us — we'll quote, but it won't be cheap.
Returns — non-personalised
If you ordered a board without engraving and changed your mind: 14 days from delivery to return for a full refund (excluding the original shipping cost). You cover return postage. Board must be unused, in original packaging.
Returns — personalised
Once you approve the mock-up and we engrave the board, we can't take it back if you've simply changed your mind — it has your text on it. We can take it back if:
- There's a defect in the board (cracks, finish issues, structural problems)
- The engraving differs from the approved mock-up
- It arrived damaged in transit
In any of those cases: email hello@morningwood.com.au with photos within 14 days. We'll repair, re-engrave, or refund — your call.
Lifetime resurfacing
Send the board back to us, we'll re-sand and re-oil it at cost (typically $35 + return postage). If the engraving has faded with the resurfacing, we'll re-engrave the original design for an additional $25. Everyone wins.
Your ACL rights
Nothing in this policy limits your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a board has a major failure, you're entitled to a replacement or refund regardless of this policy. See /terms for the longer version.
